Personalised Children's Birthday Card – Original Hand-Painted Watercolour Illustration
Make their birthday extra special with an original hand-painted birthday card, created especially for them.
Each card is individually illustrated in watercolour by artist Kate Garrett in her Devon studio. Designs can include the child's name, age, favourite animals, toys, pets or anything else that makes them smile.
More than just a birthday card, this is a little piece of original artwork that can be kept and framed long after the birthday celebrations are over.
A Birthday Card Designed Just for Them
Every illustration is created from your ideas, so you can choose a theme, colours and little details to make the card personal.
Perhaps they'd love a birthday scene filled with their favourite animals, a tractor and farmyard, dinosaurs, or a collection of their favourite toys. You can even include a portrait of the child or a much-loved family pet.
The child's name and birthday age can be incorporated into the design, making each card completely individual.
Original Hand-Painted Watercolour Artwork
All the illustrations are drawn and painted by hand in my Devon studio using professional watercolour paints and heavyweight artist paper.
No two designs are exactly alike. Each is created individually, with hand-lettered wording and carefully painted details.

FAQ
Can I personalise the birthday card with a child's name and age?
Yes. The child's name and birthday age can be included in the original watercolour illustration, along with any other short wording you'd like.
Can I choose the birthday card theme?
Absolutely. You can choose anything from woodland animals, farmyard scenes and dinosaurs to tractors, safari animals, seaside themes or favourite toys. Each design is created from your ideas.
Can you include a photograph of my child's favourite toy or pet?
Yes. You can send photographs of toys, pets or other special things you'd like included. I can also paint a portrait of the child from a photograph.
Are the birthday cards printed or hand-painted?
Each illustration is individually drawn and painted by hand in watercolour in my Devon studio. This is original artwork rather than a digitally printed design.
Can the birthday card be framed?
Yes. An optional UK-made 8-inch square frame and mount are available. The frame is supplied separately with instructions for framing the artwork.
Can you send the card directly to the child?
Yes. The inside can be left blank for your own message, or I can add a handwritten message if you'd like the card sent directly to the recipient.
Can I order a different personalised card each year?
Yes. Many families enjoy making this an annual tradition, choosing a new theme or illustration each year. It can become a lovely collection of birthday memories as the child grows.
Can I order a personalised birthday card for my child each year?
Yes. Many families enjoy making a small tradition of sending a personalised birthday card each year as the child grows. Because each illustration is painted individually, the design can change from year to year — perhaps showing a different animal, theme or birthday age. Over time, the cards become a lovely collection of memories marking each birthday.
