What animals are included on the clock?
Each hour is marked by a different farm animal illustration, including favourites such as a cow, sheep, horse and pig. The animals are taken from Kate Garrett’s original farm illustration collection, drawn in her distinctive, characterful style.
If you have your own animals you would like reflected in the design, Kate can often include other animals from her farm illustration range to make the clock even more personal. This can be a lovely way to include animals that are special to your family or farm.
Are there matching farm nursery decorations?
Yes. Matching farm animal nursery decorations include personalised height charts, cushions, prints, blankets, wall decals and door signs, all featuring Kate Garrett's original farm animal illustrations.
Is this a good gift for a new baby or christening?
Yes. A personalised nursery clock makes a thoughtful new baby gift, christening present or first birthday keepsake, especially for families decorating a farm animal nursery.
Who created the illustrations?
The farm animal illustrations are original artwork by Kate Garrett, an illustrator based in Devon, known for characterful animal drawings and traditional watercolour style.
Can you include specific animals from our own farm?
Yes, where possible Kate can include specific animals from her farm illustration collection to make the design more personal. If your child has favourite animals or your family keeps particular livestock, the clock can often be adapted to include those breeds.
Simply mention the animals you would like when placing your order, and Kate will let you know if they are available in the farm illustration range. This makes the clock a particularly meaningful choice for families with a connection to farming or rural life.
Can I request a particular breed of animal?
In many cases, yes. Kate has illustrated a wide range of farm animal breeds, including different cattle, sheep, pigs and horses. If you have a favourite breed or one that belongs to your family farm, she may be able to include it in the design.
Just include the breed in your order notes, and it can often be incorporated into the layout before production.
Is this a good clock for a farm-themed nursery?
Yes, this clock is designed especially for a farm themed nursery, featuring original illustrations of friendly farm animals arranged around the clock face. With cows, sheep, pigs, horses and other countryside favourites, it brings a gentle farmyard character to a baby’s room.
The design works beautifully as part of farm nursery décor in the UK, and pairs perfectly with other coordinating items in the collection such as farm animal height charts, nursery prints, cushions, baby blankets and wall decals. Together they create a warm, playful farm nursery theme that feels both charming and timeless.
